It’s been (too long) a while

I admit it…

I chickened out on going into the bloggospher..I wrote a few, got LOTS of views after my post on Caitlin’s site, and once those views game down, the inner perfectionist in me wanted people to like me, and lack of views meant  OH EM GEE NO ONE LIKES ME!?!?!?!

I lost consistency and threw in the towel before I even started

The short amount of time I was writing and commenting and connecting, I felt like I finally found a group to fit in with…there were literally hundreds of writers out there who were like looking into a mirror at myself…

As a young adult, Ive struggled to find a lot of people who share my love for going to a yoga class on a friday night, or wake up at 7am on a Saturday to run 10miles.  People around me think im NUTS for doing that (you RUN for PLEASURE…youre so weird), but when I read blogs I see that there are lots of nutsos out there like me

So Ive decided to write again, write to connect, write to feel sane, and write to keep up with my goals in the upcoming months (another half marathon, a full, and lots of yoga so I can, you know, finally touch my toes)

A lot has happened to me since the, oh TWO YEARS, since I last wrote..and It will take some time to fill anyone in…but ill start by introducing this guy, who’s driven me insane, but yet taught me to not take things so seriously at the exact same time…Image

Jumping in the deep end

Ive finally decided to jump into the deep end..no fear right?

The time has come for me to start a blog. (i think i can i think i can) I probably have been reading healthy living, wedding (iknowimonly21BUTi can dream), and baking blogs for about 5 years now and they really helped me in a lot of aspects of my life:
1.) While in recovery from some serious disordered eating, i learned from some of my favorite health bloggers that LIFE IS AMAZING, and you shouldnt be afraid to live it!
2.) BUTTER IS AWESOME (thanks you very much eatliverun) and baking all your own goodies is amazing..hence why i got a KitchenAid Mixer for xmas..who says you have to be married to get one.
3.) I used to be a runner for the pure reason of burning calories..well i burned calories, but i also BURNED MY BODY out..i have suffered numerous injuries because i pushed too hard (IM A PUSHER..i like to PUSH..holla mean girls) but i have read so many great running blogs that re-opened my eyes to running for the health of it…run because you can, because you want to, and because it is the cheapest form of therapy around.

So Hello blog world I am here..I am here to write about my photos, a few of my (hopefully) witty words, activities, books, music, struggles, wins, losses, discovery, setbacks, the keep on keepin’ on.

I am a healthy girl in her twenties that is ready to embrace the big girl world in a few months, and its time to start documenting the trials and tribulations that will surely ensue in the next few days/weeks/months/years.

Running/Eating DELICIOUS food/(learning to)Cook/Baking/Living Life with a hint of sarcasm, humor and of course a smile will be the main theme of this thang known as a blog.
